My two-year college life was relaxing and colourful. Apart learning and studying, I had spare time to participate in various placement opportunities provided by the College. With less pressure, my interest in learning is rekindled. I "transformed" from a student who scored 18 points in HKDSE and tired of learning, to someone who received scholarships and has been able to study the desired programme in the university. I am glad that I made a right choice to study at HPSHCC.

Lecturers are always supportive to provide guidance and assistance in different aspects such as assignments, projects and even further studies or future careers. Moreover, ample opportunities from different placements also gave us real-life work experiences in the industry. I have worked in a travel agency, Travel Expert Limited, during summer. Studying at the College for two years did not only build up my knowledge in tourism and event management field through participating in lots of placements, but also helped me to find my future career goal. Besides, lecturers’ sharing was so useful that provided me with an insight about the real working environment in tourism industry. For me, the most unforgettable memory in the College was cooperating with the student union and students from the entire programme in order to co-ordinate a singing contest for the College. Although there were conflicts and difficulties throughout the preparation process, it was so happy to see the event was conducted smoothly finally. If you are interested in tourism and event management, you will find this programme so useful and beneficial.
