Students of the Higher Diploma in Medical and Health Products Management programme have visited the Pharmacy Department of Pok Oi Hospital, Yuen Long on 21st and 28th March 2014. Mr. Robin Li, the Department Manager introduced his management philosophy and the unique operating mechanism of the pharmacy department to our students. He also emphasized the need of qualified pharmacists in a well-established general hospital. Besides, Ms. Minnie Chan, the Senior Dispenser of the Department also showed the advanced facilities installed in the in-patient dispensing section to our students. After the visit, all students recognized the importance of quality pharmacy services in a remote region with a growing population.
